Pedroia to the DL With Injured Thumb
According to the Boston Herald, Dustin Pedroia will be placed on the DL with an injured thumb. Pedey had been adamant that his injury was in a different part of the thumb as his previous injury where he missed 6 games. Sources are saying that he will not need surgery, which is good, but this is still an untimely injury.
The Yankees are coming to town for a 4 game series this weekend, and Middlebrooks probably will not play in the series either.
