A Roll of the Dice Comes Up Way Short

Saturday night's soggy Red Sox-Blue Jays game at Fenway Park can be summed up in eight words - "Dice-K didn't get out of the 2nd inning."

Daisuke Matsuzaka (pictured) gave up 5 runs in the top of the 2nd as the Red Sox fell to Toronto 9-2. All 5 were earned, on 5 hits and a walk.

The highlight of the evening? During one of the rain delays, the Yankees-Orioles game was shown on the centerfield screen so Sox fans got a nice view of the horrible call (finally payback for Jeffrey Maier?) that ended the game in Baltimore's favor.
