As I was sitting in an 8am lecture for a speech class my professor said something that immediately caught my attention. He mentioned how he was talking to his buddy who is close friends with people in Red Sox management. My professor then went on to say that his buddy told him the Sox will be selling the team in 30 days.

Now I don't know if this is legit or not, but there has been all sorts of speculations that John Henry is going to sell the team. Heck, the fact they flushed the majority of their payroll down the toilet before the season ended gives a big hint to it as well.

I just thought this was interesting seeing how according to my professor this guy who told him this information is very credible. So in the coming month if the Sox do switch ownership I guess I can thank him for telling me ahead of time and you can say you heard it here first at Red Sox Life.
