Bud Selig to retire?


According to a published report on NESN.com Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig has announced he will step down from his position on December 31, 2014.

Citing Eric Fisher of the Sports Business Journal, NESN quoted Selig as saying, "I am done. I do understand some of the feeling out there, but I am done Dec. 31, 2014. That’s it."

Selig has hinted at retiring on a couple of previous occasions. He has been in the position since 1998.
