Flacco to come play in New England

So this isn't really a lie. The Red Sox have agreed to acquire Michael Flacco, brother of Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, from the Baltimore Orioles. Flacco, a native of New Jersey, was drafted in 2009 by the Orioles and has since played in their minor league system.
"Mike had a few years with us and the Red Sox had some interest," Orioles general manager Dan Duquette said Friday, according to the Baltimore Sun. "And we thought this would be a better opportunity for him. We talk to clubs every day to see if we have a match, and on this one we had a match."
The 6-ft-6-in first baseman has hit .214 in his 107 games in High Class A and Double A appearances. We'll see how Flacco fairs with the Red Sox when he arrives in Fort Myers. We can only hope that he has the rocket arm that his older brother has.
