John Farrell "layin' da smack down" on the Red Sox culture

Bottom line, John Farrell isn't putting up with anyone's crap this season. The Red Sox manager and former pitching coach has the relational capital to make that kind of statement on this team and reverse the culture here in Beantown. Relational capital is a principle Bobby Valentine overlooked all together during his one year tenure in Boston. It's a principle that Tito maximized during his tenure in Boston and one that John Farrell witnessed first hand.

Whether it's dealing with temperamental pitchers or changing the mentality players have coming into spring training the Sox skipper refuses to let the ghosts of Red Sox past creep back into the clubs culture, not anymore.
