3 Stars of the game: Game 26

The Red Sox power could not lead the team to victory tonight as they lost the first game of the series against Toronto. Starting pitcher Jon Lester did not have a fantastic performance and the teams home runs came with no runners on the bases. The Blue Jays simply outplayed the Red Sox tonight and earned the victory. Here are your three stars of the game:

Star 3: Jose Bautista
Bautista quickly got the Toronto offense rolling tonight with an RBI double in the first inning. Bautista went 2-2 tonight with an RBI and 2 runs scored. He also was patient at the plate and worked 2 walks.
Star 2: David Ortiz
Again David Ortiz was fantastic for the Red Sox. He continued his hot streak to begin the season and amazingly brought his sky high average down with a 2-5 performance tonight. He scored 1 run but had 4 RBI's, 3 of them coming on a 3 run double in the 7th inning. He also hit his 3rd home run on the year, a solo shot in the 4th inning.
Star 1: Edwin Encarnacion
Encarnacion killed the Red Sox pitching staff tonight going 2-4 but hitting 2 home runs. His 2 home runs came both with a runner on base, totaling 4 RBI's and 2 runs scored.
