3 Stars of the Game: Game 38, Mothers Day

Did someone tell the Blue Jays that the home run derby was today? Nope? Well it sure looked like it, or maybe the ball looked like a watermelon for those hitters who went deep 5 times today in a disappointing effort on mothers day. The loss was the Red Sox 8th in their last 10 games and the team that was once dominating the Major Leagues is now getting crushed by Toronto. Here are the 3 stars of the game:

Star 3: Edwin Encarnacion
Any one of these guys could have been the star of the game, they all had great performances. Encarnacion went 3-5 with 2 RBI's and a run scored. He hit a solo home run, his 11th of the year in the 5th inning.
Star 2: Emilio Bonifacio
Bonifacio also went deep today, with a 2 run home run in the 4th inning, his first home run of the year. He went 3-4 with 2 RBI's and scored 3 runs.
Star 1: Joey Bautista
Bautista decided that he wanted to have an explosion of an offensive day. He went 2-4 with 3 RBI's and 3 runs scored. He hit 2 home runs, one in the third inning and another in the 6th inning.

Well the Red Sox are playing awful baseball currently and need to turn it around quickly. Whats going wrong? Think you have the answer, leave it in the comments below or tell me on twitter @ryanthahawaiian.
