Tonight was just Cliff Lee's night, he was dominating and shut the Red Sox offense down, allowing only 4 hits. In one of the quickest games of the season for the Sox, The Red Sox split the 2 game home series against the Phillies and will travel to Philadelphia to play two games there. Here are the 3 stars of the game:
Star 3: Erik Kratz
Kratz called an excellent game behind the plate for Lee, helping him allow only 1 run on 4 hits in 8 innings pitched. Not only did Kratz star behind the plate but also provided offense at the plate going 2-3 with an RBI, the winning run of the game.
Star 2: Ryan Dempster
Dempster did exactly what the Red Sox management wanted him to do, he just did not get the run support he needed. He only gave up 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings of work. He struck out 4 and walked 3.
Star 1: Cliff Lee
Lee got the better of the pitchers duel, going 8 innings and picking up the win. With the win he improved to 6-2 on the season, giving up 1 run on 4 hits in 8 innings of work. He struck out 8 and walked none.

While the Red Sox split the series at Fenway they now travel to Philadelphia to play a quick 2 game series there. How do you think the team will fare in the quick series? Leave your answer in the comments section below or on twitter @Ryanthahawaiian.
