Sox strike late to beat Cleveland

Dustin Pedroia's 2-out double in the bottom of the 8th inning drove home the go-ahead run and Daniel Nava drove in two more with a single as the Red Sox came from behind to be Cleveland 7-4 at Fenway Park.

Mike Carp, pinch hitting for Jonny Gomes, tied the game in the 8th with a double that drove Pedro Ciriaco home.

Junichi Tazawa was the winner in relief of Jon Lester; Andrew Bailey came on in the 9th for his 6th save of the season.

Pedroia (pictured) had two of the Red Sox 11 hits; Ciriaco and Jose Iglesias each had 3 hits.

Cleveland jumped out to an early 1-0 in the top of the first inning on a 2-out double by Nick Swisher. The Red Sox tied the game on an RBI single by Ciriaco in the bottom of the second. Cleveland scored two more in the third and another in the seventh.

Lester went 7 innings in collecting the no-decision. He gave up 4 runs on 10 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8.
