Chris Tillman shut out the Red Sox for seven innings, John Lackey gave up three home runs, and the Red Sox fell out of first place with a 6-0 loss to the Orioles in Baltimore and Tampa's win over the Yankees in the Bronx.

The Red Sox fell behind 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning courtesy of an Adam Jones home run with a man on; it was the first of two home runs for Jones who now has twenty-two on the season.

Lackey (pictured) pitched into the seventh inning and was charged with five runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out two.

Jacoby Ellsbury had two of the four hits managed by the Boston offense which has been dormant of late. Boston has been held scoreless in two of their last four games.
