The outfield grass at Fenway Park received an artistic tribute as the Red Sox prepare for their first playoff game in four years.
The Red Sox grounds crew have cut the “B Strong” logo into the outfield grass. Fenway Park’s outfield has featured some cool designs in the past including tributes to Ted Williams and Johnny Pesky, but the “B Strong” logo is a one of a kind tribute to those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings back in April.
The Red Sox begin their quest for another World Series title this Friday with game one of the American League Divisional Series.
