David Price upset over Big Papi's pimpin'

Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz belted two home runs in Saturday's 7-4 win that pushed the Rays to the brink of elimination in the ALDS.

After the second home run, Ortiz stood at home and watched as the ball went high and deep over the Pesky Pole. While Red Sox Lifer's appreciated Big Papi's pair of bombs, Tampa Bay starter David Price did not. Price told reporters after the loss:

"He knows how I've pitched him the last year and a half, probably two years,He steps in the bucket and he hits a homer, and he stares at it to see if it's fair or foul — I'm sure that's what he'd say. But as soon as he hit it and I saw it, I knew it was fair. Run."

Ortiz said:

"I was trying to see if the ball went fair or foul... I got a lot of respect for Price. This guy is special. No doubt."

One would think Price has bigger problems to worry about following his outing in which he allowed seven runs in seven-plus innings of work.
