Started from the bottom now we here. Yep, the championship parade is officially a go for this Saturday at 10 am according to the Boston Globe. Cue the duck boats. Mayor Tom Menino tweeted out this morning that the parade would start then (see below) and he told the Globe that he expected a large crowd.

Per Menino's official Twitter page:

As for the parade route, Larry Lucchino told the Globe the route would be the same route as 2004 (pictured, left), whoc means starting at Fenway, head down Bolyston Street, go through downtown to the Museum of Science, where they'll enter the Charles, then take a lap around the Charles before coming out at the museum.

I for one cannot wait until Saturday rolls around and we get to watch the 8th Rolling Rally in Boston this century. It should be a great party, and I'm sure the route will include a stop at the Marathon finish line, since this team really embraced Boston Strong like no other team. Bruins, Celtics and Patriots, I apologize, but this team was the epitome of what Boston Strong meant and I can't wait to celebrate.

Thoughts? Gonna be there? Tweet me @ConorJF1016 or leave a comment.
