The Boston Red Sox completed their worst-to-first improbable dream season and defeated the St. Louis Cardinals four games to two for their eighth world championship in franchise history and third in 10 years.

It was an exciting World Series and was filled with many high and a few lows for Red Sox Nation.

Here are the Top 5 moments from the 2013 World Series:

Number 5: Obstruction!

Number 4: Jonny Gomes' 3-run homer evens series.

Number 3: Shane Victorino's 3-run double paves the way.

Number 2: Big Papi's team meeting inspires. The Cardinals do not win another game.

Number 1: Koji time is closing time.
