David Ortiz's out of this world performance against the Cardinals has made us here at Red Sox Life wonder: Is he a Hall of Famer? So, we'd like you all to let us know what you think in the latest RSL Poll.

YES: On the one hand, his numbers in the World Series were crazy, out of this world good. He hit .688 in the Fall Classic and it got to the point in game 6 where the Cardinals just didn't pitch to him. And this is his 3rd championship in the last 10 years, and he was a valuable piece in all of them. The 2004 playoff run was the ultimate clinic in clutch hitting put on by Big Papi. Not to mention 7 seasons with 30+ home runs and 100+ RBI's. And he also broke the Red Sox single-season home run record when he hit 54 in 2006.

NO: There are 2 possible counter-arguments here: He was just a DH and he used PED's (which is pretty lame, but non-Red Sox fans keep bringing it up). DHs just hit. That's all they do. They don't have to field, unless of course, it's the World Series and they are inserted as a fielder like Big Papi was in every World Series.

So, there you are Red Sox Lifer's. Answer the poll and let us know what you think.
