The Greek God of Walks is will be plying his trade in Japan with the Rakuten Golden Eagles next year, MLB Trade Rumors is reporting via Patrick Newman (tweet below). According to MLB Trade Rumors, Youk wanted to play on the West Coast to remain close to his family, but his wife and children agreed to go to Japan with him, which was a factor.

According to MLB Trade Rumors, he did have offers from other MLB clubs, but chose the new experience in Japan. I hope he likes Japanese food, and I do hope he enjoys Japan.
