The Red Sox head into Oakland riding a high after a walk off win against the Minnesota Twins yesterday afternoon. Tonight, they'll look to continue their winning ways against an Oakland team which they took 2 of 3 back at Fenway in May, but it won't be easy this time around on the A's turf. The A's have established themselves as one of the best teams in baseball at 44-28, and the Red Sox will have to be at their best if they want to come away with a series win.

The Red Sox will turn to Jake Peavy, who has had his struggles this year with his last win coming against the Toronto Blue Jays back on April 25th. He's 1-4 this year with a 4.53 ERA in 14 starts this year. He had one of his better starts last time out against the Cleveland Indians, but he'll have his hands full against the A's bats. He'll face Scott Kazmir, who ranks 2nd in the AL with an ERA of 2.05 and is riding a 3-game win streak. He's had his struggles against Boston, with an ERA of 4.04, but he's been on top of his game this year with an 8-2 record. The Red Sox line up will certainly have their hands full with Kazmir tonight.
