Clay Buchholz made two mistakes...and both of them left the ballpark as the Chicago White Sox shut out the Red Sox 4-0 at Fenway Park.

Boston managed just two hits - an A.J. Pierzynski single off Chicago starter Scott Carroll in the third innings, and an eighth-inning single by Jackie Bradley, Jr. off reliever Javy Guerra.

Buchholz lasted seven innings allowing all four Chicago runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven. Two of the hits were home runs including a solo shot by Adam Dunn in the second and Dayan Viciedo's three-run blast in the fourth.

The loss was the sixth in the last seven games for Boston.
