Another ineffective start by Wade Miley, and another lackluster offensive performance added up to a 7-0 Red Sox loss to the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.

Miley (pictured) was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits and a walk in 6 innings of work. He struck out 8 Blue Jays in suffering his 4th loss of the year.

The Boston offense was pitiful. Playing without David Ortiz who was serving his one-game suspension after being ejected from last Sunday's game, the Red Sox managed just two hits.

Aaron Sanchez threw 7 scoreless innings for Toronto, allowing singles to Mookie Betts and Dustin Pedroia.
