The Red Sox used a pair of two-run innings in beating the Orioles 4-2 at Fenway Park. For Baltimore it was their first defeat in 2016.

Joe Kelly went five innings for the win. He was touched for seven hits and walked five while striking out six.

Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts (pictured) led the Red Sox with two hits apiece. Bogaerts drove in two of the Boston runs with an RBI double in the fourth.

The bullpen was in total shutdown mode - Matt Barnes, Tommy Layne, Junichi Tazawa, Koji Uehara and Craig Kimbrel scattered just two hits over a combined four innings to seal the "W" for Boston.
