Recap - Red Sox Bats Back Wright For His 10th Win

The Red Sox offense came back to life on Wednesday night, scoring eleven runs on ten hits, as Boston beat the Rangers 11-6 in the rubber game of their three-game set at Fenway Park.

Mookie Betts and Bryce Brentz each collected two hits. David Ortiz hit his 20th home run of the year in the first inning.

Steven Wright (pictured) went six innings in picking up his tenth win of the year, tying him with Rick Porcello for the team lead. He was charged with six runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out seven.

Boston scored in each of the first four innings to give Wright an 11-1 lead after four innings.

With the win, the Red Sox won back-to-back series for the first time since May.
