Recap - Porcello Notches 20th As Red Sox Rout Jays

Rick Porcello became the first 20-game winner of the 2016 season, and the first for the Red Sox since Josh Beckett did it in 2007, as Boston trounced the Blue Jays 13-3 at Rogers Centre.

Porcello (pictured) limited Toronto to two runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out seven and threw 80 of his 114 pitches for strikes.

Boston is 22-7 this year in games Porcello has started.

The Red Sox offense pounded out eighteen hits with seven players in double figures, led by Dustin Pedroia with three. Every Boston starter had at least one hit.

Xander Bogaerts and Hanley Ramirez each hit home runs. Mookie Betts, David Ortiz and Jackie Bradley Jr. each had two-base hits.

The Red Sox took a two-game lead over the Blue Jays with the victory.
