Recap - Red Sox Offense Held In Check

Troy Tulowitzki's two-out RBI single of reliever Brad Ziegler in the top of the eighth inning pushed the Blue Jays to a 2-1 win over the Red Sox on the last day of the 2016 regular season.

Boston managed just four hits, including a solo home run by Hanley Ramirez in the seventh inning which tied the score at one.

David Price started for Boston going five innings for the no decision. He allowed one run on four hits while walking three and striking out four.

David Ortiz went 0-4 in his final regular season game at Fenway Park. The team announced prior to the game that it will retire his number 34 next season.

The Red Sox will open in Cleveland on Thursday with Rick Porcello slated to start Game One.
