Mother Nature can't even cool off the Red Sox right now.

Playing in temperatures more conducive to a winter ski trip, Boston edged the Baltimore Orioles 3-1 at Fenway Park Sunday afternoon.

Andrew Benintendi and Mitch Moreland each had three hits in the win, the team's 13th in 15 games.

Heath Hembree was the winner with two innings of scoreless relief. Chris Sale (pictured), describing the conditions as the most miserable he's ever encountered on a baseball field, went five innings for a no-decision.

Sale allowed a run on two hits and a pair of walks while striking out eight. Craig Kimbrel struck out two in the ninth inning and recorded his fifth save of the season.

Due to the impending rain coming Monday, the Red Sox opted to postpone the annual Monday Patriots Day game. It will be rescheduled for May 17.
