J.D. Martinez (pictured) had two hits and drove in three runs as the Red Sox beat the Blue Jays 5-3 Sunday afternoon at Rogers Centre.

The home run was Martinez's tenth of the season and came in the top of the first to give Boston an early 2-0 lead.

Hector Velazquez was the winner with two scoreless innings of relief after starter Drew Pomeranz was lifted after allowing three straight hits and a walk in the top of the fifth.

Joe Kelly pitched a clean ninth inning for his second save of the season.
