To be clear, Manny would still have to serve a 50-game suspension if/when he was in position to be put on a roster by a team.

I'm not sure what to add that I haven't said already.

Part of me would love to see Manny back. We may never see a better, more consistent hitter at Fenway. But whether he can still produce at a high level is an open question.
