Roy Oswalt has declined a chance to pitch in Detroit.

Rumors persist that he will come here, to play for a team that finished with a worse record in 2011 and failed to make the playoffs. He declined to pitch alongside the Cy Young award winner and MVP, who reportedly called to convince him.
