On a different note, I can’t imagine Bailey got many well wishing tweets after the news came out that he will most likely be out till after the All Star break. Not the best way to start the Ben Cherington era with Bailey and Carpenter but hey, Theo is not walking through that door in the guerrilla suit. At least Melancon had success last year in Houston. That move actually looks pretty good for Cherington seeing as Jed Lowrie is also in danger of missing some time. Plus Kyle Weiland isn't a real pitcher, right?
