Terry Francona big leaguing Fenway's birthday party

TORONTO -- When the Red Sox face the Yankees on April 20, they will have a grand celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park. The club is breaking out the welcome mat by inviting every ex-player and manager in team history.
One person you aren't going to see during the ceremony is the only living man who knows what it's like to manage the Red Sox to a World Series championship. For Terry Francona, who led Boston to titles in 2004 and '07, the wounds are simply too fresh following his exit from the club at the end of last season.
I don't think anybody is going to blame Tito for not going, especially not this guy. The people who went behind his back are probably still working for the Sox (minus Marco Scutaro) so why should he have to go, put on a fake smile and have to deal with people he probably wants to spit chew on.

Terry Francona was, and will always be, a huge part of the history of the Boston Red Sox. But right now the scars are just starting to heal. Tito will have his day in Fenway park where the fans will be able to cheer him, and all his accomplishments can be recognized. Until then let him move on and allow him to be mad about the fact that the Red Sox went out of their way to try and tarnish his image.

Judging by the picture he seems to be doing a pretty good job of letting it go.
