Sox Sweep Marlins

Will Middlebrooks hit a 2-run home run and Daniel Nava rapped an RBI single in the bottom of the 8th inning as the Red Sox rallied from 2 runs down for a 6-5 win over the Miami Marlins at Fenway Park. The win was Boston's 5th in a row.

For Middlebrooks (pictured) it was his 8th round-tripper of the season and his second in as many nights. Nava had another multi-hit game out of the leadoff spot and upped his average to .340.

Scott Atchison got the win in relief of Boston starter Daisuke Matsuzaka. Dice-K was tagged for 3 runs in the 1st inning but settled down after that and held the Marlins scoreless until the 6th inning when Miami took a 5-3 lead.

Middlebrooks had 3 of the Red Sox' 9 hits in the game.
