Sox Continue To Be A Thorn In the Yankees' Side


The Orioles scored 3 runs in the top of the 12th inning charged to Alfredo Aceves to beat the Red Sox 9-6 at Fenway Park.

Pedro Ciriaco, Dustin Pedroia (pictured), Mike Aviles, Daniel Nava and Scott Podsednik all had 2-hit games for the Red Sox.

Aaron Cook pitched one out into the 6th inning, charged with 5 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks.

The loss was the 4th in a row for Boston and allowed the Orioles to remain within a game of the 1st place Yankees in the American League East. The Yankees beat Oakland 10-9 on an error in 14 innings.
