While the Red Sox and Blue Jays were waiting through a pair of rain delays at Fenway Park on Saturday night, the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox beat the Scranton Yankees 7-1.

All 7 runs scored in the top of the 2nd inning; the big blow was a 3-run blast by 3rd baseman Danny Valencia (pictured).

Starting pitcher Nelson Figueroa went 8 very strong innings, allowing a run on 2 hits. Alex Wilson pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to finish.

The PawSox will play the winner of the Charlotte/Indianapolis series. Game one of the finals is scheduled for Tuesday night at McCoy Stadium.
