Ryan Kalish underwent successful shoulder surgery today

It looks like Ryan Kalish is one step closer to resuming his comeback to the Red Sox outfield in 2013. Rotoworld.com has reported that Kalish had successful right shoulder surgery on Wednesday in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Lewis Yokum performed an arthroscopy and posterior labrum repair on the 24-year old outfielder.

Kalish will miss the first part of the 2013 season, but is hopefully he’ll make a return before the season’s end.
