On Friday Red Sox manager John Farrell met with the media to discuss many topics including a 50 minute team meeting, player development and what’s on the horizon for the Sox organization. Farrell seemed calm, cool and collected when address the ambitious Red Sox media.
While the majority of Farrell’s responses to the media could be considered lip service, the newly appointed Red Sox manager is making three things very clear: It’s his team, the past is the past and everything is right on track for a successful season. Farrell has a lot going for him as he takes the helm, but the most important factor is the respect of his players which Farrell seems to have that in spades.
