BREAKING NEWS: Mark Teixeira out for 8-10 weeks with wrist injury


The injury bug has infiltrated the New York Yankees clubhouse this spring, and things just got a whole lot worse for the Pinstripe Punks. On Wednesday Yankees manager Joe Girardi announced that Mark Teixeira will miss 8-10 weeks due to a wrist injury sustained during batting practice with the United States' World Baseball Classic team.  

Earlier today RedSoxLife writer Joel Trunfio reported on a story regarding the possible suspension of three key New York Yankee players for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs - the three players in question were Robinson Cano, Curtis Granderson and Alex Rodriguez.
