Boston Red Sox week 3 preview

After 2 weeks of baseball the Boston Red Sox are currently leading the AL East with a record of 7-4 with a 1 game lead over Baltimore. The team is riding a hot streak currently, winning their last 2 games on the backs of great pitching from Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz. This week the team plays 7 games, 4 at home with a 3 game series in Cleveland starting Tuesday. Here is your weekly schedule and pitching matchups:
Monday:
On Patriots Day all of Fenway Park will wear the number 42 for Jackie Robinson Day. The game is the earliest game of the season, a 11:05 start time. Jeremy Hellickson will get the ball for Tampa, who was roughed up in his last start giving up 3 runs in 5 innings last Monday. Ryan Dempster will get the ball for Boston who has performed well in his previous 2 starts but is still looking for his first win in a Boston uniform. The game will be on NESN.
Tuesday:
In their first game in Cleveland Felix Doubront gets the ball for the Red Sox and faces Ubaldo Jimenez. This will be the first game that the Red Sox play against Terry Francona so expect some hellos before the game but expect the team to be ready to fight when first pitch comes around. The game is at 7:05 and is on NESN.
Wednesday:
Alfredo "head case" Aceves will get his second start of the year against the Indians ace Justin Masterson. Aceves got the no decision when he took the place of John Lackey in his first start of the season. Masterson is currently 3-0 allowing only 10 hits in 22 innings pitched. The game will be at 7:05 on NESN.
Thursday:
Jon Lester will get the start in the final game against Cleveland and will pitch against Zach McAllister. Lester has been the ace that the Red Sox have wanted him to be. He is currently 2-0 on the season and will be hunting for his 3rd win. In McAllisters last start he got the win in a 6.1 inning outing striking out 6. The game is on NESN and starts at 7:05
