Cubs claim Bard; RSL Poll: Who's to blame for Daniel Bard?

The Chicago Cubs announced Wednesday that they have claimed pitcher Daniel Bard off waivers from the Red Sox. Boston's former top-100 prospect was designated for assignment on Sunday.

Bard was a dominant late-inning reliever in 2010, but didn't respond well when the team attempted to convert him into a starter in 2012.

Now, with the news coming out of Chicago that the Cubs have claimed him off waivers, RSL asks: Who is to blame for all that went wrong?
