The Tenth Day of Soxmas: Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing...

(Danbury Mint)

It does not matter whether you have been naughty or nice, all the boys and girls of Red Sox Nation received the greatest gift of all when the Olde Town Team brought home the 2013 World Series.

We here at Red Sox Life are reliving all that was one magical season.

The tenth day of Soxmas: Oct. 19 - Don't worry 'bout a thing

As exciting as the World Series was, the ALCS against the Tigers was a heart-stopping series from start to finish.

With the Red Sox trailing 2-1 in the seventh inning of Game 6 and unable to score off eventual AL Cy Young winner Max Scherzer, the Tigers went to the bullpen.

Enter Shane Victorino. Mired in a 2-for-22 slump. With the bases loaded.

Bob Marley and the Fenway Faithful sang, "Every little thing's gonna be all right."

Goodnight, Tigers. Hello, World Series.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Red Sox Life.
