The Red Sox exploded for 14 runs on 15 hits, including a 6-run fourth inning, to beat Sonny Gray and the Oakland Athletics 14-7 at Fenway Park.
Clay Buchholz was on the winning side of the ledger, but not before he had fallen behind 4-1 after three innings. He allowed four runs on six hits and a pair of walks while striking out two.
Somehow he managed to pitch two scoreless innings before turning things over to the bullpen after five innings.
David Ortiz, Travis Shaw, and Jackie Bradley Jr. (pictured) each had three hits, including JBJ's first career grand slam as he drove in six runs and extended his hitting streak to 15 straight games.
Christian Vazquez was the only Red Sox starter to not have at least one hit.
