Rick Porcello allowed just five hits over eight innings on Sunday.

Unfortunately, three of them were home runs as the Red Sox fell to the Angels 3-2.

Victimized by poor run support most of the season - the Red Sox offense has scored two runs or fewer in 11 of Porcello's 21 starts this year - Porcello lost for the 13th time this season.

Boston's "offense" consisted of a Deven Marrero RBI single in the fifth inning and a solo home run by Hanley Ramirez (pictured) in the sixth. Ramirez and Brock Holt each had two hits in the loss.

Angels rookie Parker Bridwell scattered five hits over seven innings to pick up the win.

Following the game, the Red Sox announced the callup of Rafael Devers. The third baseman will join the team in Seattle and is likely to start on Tuesday night against the Mariners.
