Are you sure we can't we blame the uniforms?

Boston's lone run came in the bottom of the sixth inning on an RBI double by Rafael Devers that plated Xander Bogaerts.

Doug Fister (pictured) allowed a pair of runs in the top of the first and then settled in nicely. He went seven innings, scattering five hits and walking two while striking out seven.

Addison Reed and Craig Kimbrel each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

Combined with a Yankees win over Seattle, the Red Sox lead in the American League East is down to 2.5 games.
