Take 2.

David Price was terrific.

So was the bullpen.

And just like that, the Red Sox bounced back from a horrific Opening Day loss to beat the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 at Tropicana Field.

Price (pictured) tossed seven outstanding shutout innings, scattering four hits and striking out five in earning his - and the team's - first win of the year.

Matt Barnes came on in the eighth and allowed a walk but otherwise was very effective for the second time in two days.

Craig Kimbrel made his 2018 debut, earning his first save by striking out the side on fifteen pitches.

Boston was held scoreless until the seventh. Xander Bogaerts led off with a double, one of two on the night, and was driven home on a sharp single up the middle by Rafael Devers.

Hanley Ramirez had two hits in the victory.
