Valentine?

Several sources report that the Red Sox are talking to Bobby Valentine.

This is nothing less than a 180 from all that has come before in the manager search.

On the upside, I think this proves that I was right, and they just don't know what they want. (Hey, it had to happen sooner or later.)

I can't see Valentine fitting in here, and dealing with the local press. Then again, it might be entertaining.
