Daniel Bard gets the ball tonight in Chicago. Either way, there was going to be pressure on his first start since his bullpen visit, but now he has a win streak to maintain.

The good news is that White Sox pitcher John Danks appears to have underwhelming stuff.

Give Bard credit, he stepped up in a tight spot. But even a mediocre start tonight could get him banned to the bullpen, and a weak start almost certainly would. Good luck to him.
