It's Going To Be A LONG Weekend

The Yankees hit five solo home runs, four of them off Red Sox starter Franklin Morales in their 6-4 win over Boston in the opening game of their 3-game weekend series in the Bronx.

Birthday boy Dustin Pedroia (pictured) gave the Red Sox a 4-3 lead with a 3-run blast of his own in the top of the 3rd inning off Yankees starting pitcher Phil Hughes; for Pedroia it was his 10th long ball of the season.

Morales was charged with his 4th loss of the season.
