Buchholz setback: Sox shuffle rotation

The Red Sox announced a rotation shakeup this afternoon after a Clay Buchholz bullpen session was cut short because of discomfort in his collarbone.

Franklin Morales gets the start tomorrow against the Phillies, Jon Lester has been moved to Friday against the Yankees, Felix Doubront will get the Yanks Saturday and Clay Buchholz was pushed back after "still feeling something" during bullpen.

It's unclear if Buchholz turn will be skipped entirely. He initially felt the pain during his last start, in Chicago May 22

Manger John Farrell said, "He's still a possibility for the New York series, but while he's feeling improved, we felt like it would be best to give him a couple more days as well. He still feels some symptoms in that AC joint, and when he mentioned that, this is something I took out of his hands."

The Red Sox do not want to turn a minor early-season issue into something that lingers through the season.
Buchholz is 7-0 with a 1.93 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 72.2 innings.
