Third base dilemma

This problem is not going to change by itself.

Using Brock Holt is not working.

Brandon Snyder can't seem to get it done either.

Platooning Brock Holt and Brandon Snyder has not been effective.

With Xander Bogaerts out performing Will Middlebrooks at Pawtucket, there seems to be only one solution, call him up sooner rather than later.

Since the Red Sox traded Jose Iglesias there has been a glaring hole in the production coming from third base. Brock Holt is hitting .107 (3-for-28) since last nights game. Brandon Snyder is hitting .200 (2-for-10). As a platoon they are hitting .132 (5-for-38) and is a glaring hole in the Red Sox offense that was again exposed last night.

Top of the 2nd inning, Brock Holt grounds out to short for the second out.

Xander Bogaerts can do no worse, just sayin'...

Top of the 3rd inning with Stephen Drew on third base, Brock Holt grounded out to end the inning and a 2 run rally.

Top of the 5th inning, Brock Holt flies out to center for the second out.

Top of the 7th inning with Mike Napoli on first base, Brock Holt flies out to right field to end the inning.

Xander Bogaerts is is batting .302 in his last 10 games for the PawSox and has eight home runs in 49 games since being called up to Triple-A this year.

Time for the Red Sox to solve this dilemma.

Just sayin'...
