Sale's first win of 2019 was an absolute gem - six shutout innings allowing just three hits and one walk while striking out ten. He didn't give up a hit until a two-out single in the fourth.

Rafael Devers put the Red Sox up 3-0 in the top of the first inning with his first home run of the season. Michael Chavis made it 5-0 with his fourth long ball of year, a two-run blast in the sixth. Mookie Betts drew a bases-loaded walk in the same frame to complete the scoring.

J.D. Martinez had three hits to lead the offense. Andrew Benintendi, Xander Bogaerts, Devers and Chavis each had two.
