Just in time to temper the enthusiasm of a modest three-game win streak....
The Red Sox announced they have placed LHP David Price on the 10-day injured list with tendinitis in his left elbow.
Price was scheduled to start Tuesday night in Baltimore.
The move is retroactive to Friday. To replace Price, tRed Sox selected the contract of 28-year-old right-hander Ryan Weber from AAA Pawtucket.
